Stubborn as they come, parents simply just don’t understand. Especially mine. As unhealthy as she is, she has no idea that she is not helping her cause when she doesn’t comply with her doctors, lawyers, family, etc. So frustrating and yet, for the longest time, I simply didn’t care- now I do. I feel for her and her conditions. Compassion for her was not in my life for the longest time. Now I wish nothing but understanding and peace for the remaining years of her life. This is just not the way to handle things.
